The first thing most people get wrong in this debate is treating “weight reduction” as a single scalar win, when what actually governs micro-corrections is the mass distribution relative to your rotation axis, not just total grams. When you snap-correct with a wrist or finger flick, you’re rotating the mouse about an axis that usually passes somewhere near the palm contact point, not dead-center. That means the relevant quantity is

DPC latency in competitive titles almost always comes down to a handful of repeatable culprits, and NVIDIA’s driver is frequently at the top of the list—though it’s rarely the whole story. Start with LatencyMon and watch the actual driver names, not just the overall number: when nvlddmkm.sys spikes in the 2-5ms+ range during gameplay, that’s usually your display driver blocking the DPC thread rather than the GPU itself. The most common NVIDIA-specific failure mode is MPO (Multi-Plane Overlay) combined with G-Sync on a variable-refresh panel, where the compositor and the driver fight over surface ownership and generate DPC backlog.

Disable MPO via registry (MultiPlaneOverlay =?
