Hey everyone, just wanted to come back and say a massive thank you. I finally got around to trying out the suggestions you guys laid out, and I have to admit I was hesitant at first because poking around BIOS settings always made me nervous, but it totally worked. I enabled the Re-Sizable BAR option and also turned on the Above 4G Addressing setting like u/ShadowLamp suggested, then went into my GPU software and made sure both FreeSync and the adaptive sync options were actually enabled there too. After a clean reboot, I ran through the same spot that was wrecking my frametimes before and it’s buttery smooth now — no more stuttering, no more framedrops, frametime graph is dead flat. Turns out the issue wasn’t VRR itself, it was the system not being able to address the full VRAM pool which was causing some serious hitches underneath. Really appreciate the patience explaining all the technical stuff, this community is the best. Consider this thread locked in the solved department! 🎮

Set initial actuation to 0.5mm and rapid trigger reset to 0.15mm. Anything below 0.1mm risks accidental misinputs when resting fingers.

Leave UMA at 1GB if you play games with high system RAM demand, or 4GB for GPU-heavy titles. CryoUtilities swap file helps prevent crashes.

Cap TDP at 8W or 10W with a 45Hz screen refresh rate. Most indie games run locked 45 FPS with over 4 hours on a full charge.
