Alright guys, it actually worked. I went through the whole thread, tried most of what you suggested, but the thing that finally killed the framedrops was flipping that “Speed Step” / C-State power management setting off in the BIOS like u/GamerDude99 mentioned a few posts back. I was deep into thinking this had to do with my TCP window scaling and rollback buffer sizing, but turns out my CPU was throttling down during matches and wrecking the frame pacing. Matchups feel buttery now, inputs are landing where I press them, and I’m back to actually practicing combos instead of staring at a stuttering hit confirm. Thanks for not making me feel dumb for asking — posting my original title back here was probably a mistake but I’m keeping it for the aesthetic. You legends rock.
