For the actual IPC channel, you want to split your trust model by data sensitivity rather than treating every message the same. Core telemetry (memory hashes, module signatures, hook detection results) should ride over a named pipe or Unix domain socket with credential-based auth, while the highest-sensitivity state—like the shared anti-cheat key material—lives in a protected shared-memory region with page-level permissions (e.g., mprotect/SetProtectedMemory on Windows, or memory-mapped segments owned by the kernel-level driver with no user-mode write access). The classic failure I see in community anti-cheat implementations is relying on a shared-memory buffer without a proper handshake, which lets a malicious process just mmap the same region and read keystroke buffers or injection state.
