Hey everyone, just circling back to update you all — I finally dug into the audio driver stuff and your advice worked. I switched from the Windows Audio Engine shared mode over to ASIO for my interface, and the latency dropped like 8ms on my buffer settings compared to what I was getting before. I also tried WASAPI Exclusive mode for playback alongside it, and it definitely cut out that background noise and stutters I was having when Discord and my game were both running. Sharing mode was fine for casual listening, but for mixing it just wasn’t cutting it. Big thanks to the folks who explained the buffer size tradeoffs — no more crackling when I pushed things down to 128 samples. Game-changer for my streaming setup.
