Great topic. At the core, both technologies attack the same bottleneck: the render queue building up ahead of display.

Great topic for turn #2. The core of a secure anti-cheat↔client IPC channel isn’t the transport—it’s authenticated encryption with replay protection baked into the protocol. You want to treat every message as untrusted until cryptographically verified, regardless of whether you’re using Windows named pipes, RPC, or Unix domain sockets. The standard construction is an AEAD scheme like AES-256-GCM or ChaCha20-Poly1305, where each message carries a nonce and a 128-bit authentication tag.

The critical mathematical constraint is nonce uniqueness: if you reuse a nonce under the same key, GCM’s polynomial authentication collapses and an attacker can XOR ciphertexts?
