Dotemu and Tribute Spiele have unveiled further details on the upcoming DLC for their retro-inspired beat-’em-up, Marvel Cosmic Invasion.
Titled Siege of Castle Doom, the DLC pack is set to launch for PS5 and PS4 on 10th November 2026, as shown in this new trailer:
The headline addition is a brand-new roguelike mode, designed to inject plenty of replay value into the already well-regarded superhero brawler.
It appears to follow a fairly standard setup: with your chosen heroes, you enter Castle Doomstadt, which presents a random assortment of rooms and challenges on each run. As in Hades, you’ll encounter several pathways leading to specific rewards.
As you progress, you’ll steadily strengthen your character with stat boosts, new equipment, modifiers and more.
Paired with the new playable characters—Doctor Doom and Invisible Woman—the DLC pack looks like a substantial expansion of the main game.
A roguelike mode feels like a fitting addition to Cosmic Invasion. If executed well, it should give players a strong reason to keep coming back for more.
