The medieval management sim Manor Lords is having an absolute barnburner of a year, and the developers are celebrating a monumental achievement: over 4 million copies sold across all platforms. To show their appreciation to players and keep the gameplay fresh, a brand-new major update is on its way, promising even more depth and charm to this already captivating experience.
New Features for Aspiring Lords
Manor Lords has always been about resource management and strategic development, but the upcoming update takes that to a whole new level. Players will now be able to craft cider from apples, mead from honey, and efficiently thresh oats to feed both their human workforce and their livestock. This adds another layer of complexity and realism to the gameplay loop.
For those with a particular fondness for bovine creatures (myself included!), the update introduces the exciting possibility of becoming “a cow-herding mogul.” This means players can now breed and import livestock, adding another dimension to their agricultural empire. I’ve been looking for an excuse to dive back into Manor Lords for a while now. It wasn’t that I lost interest; it was more about feeling like I had exhausted my initial gameplay strategies. But with this influx of new content, the update is precisely what I needed to reignite my passion for medieval management sims.
