The Lego Company and Toei Animation officially unveiled the first-ever Dragon Ball brick set on Tuesday, revealing that the wish-granting Eternal Dragon Shenron will be the centerpiece of a new collection arriving this November. The Lego Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku set (11390) marks the beginning of a formal partnership between the two companies, with additional Dragon Ball sets confirmed to follow in 2027 and beyond.
The 1,764-piece set stands more than 12 inches tall and captures a defining moment from Akira Toriyama’s beloved franchise. Alongside the towering Shenron figure, the set includes a Kid Goku minifigure and a diorama complete with the seven Dragon Balls, recreating the scene in which the dragon rises from the orbs while Kid Goku rides his Kintoun through the heart of the display.
A Scene From Anime History
According to Lego, the set is built around what the company describes as the “powerful moment Shenron rises from the seven Dragon Balls, with Kid Goku riding his Kintoun at the heart of the scene that celebrates one of anime’s most enduring heroes.” The choice to feature Kid Goku rather than the adult Son Goku underscores the set’s focus on the origins of the series, celebrating the character’s earliest adventures.
The Dragon Balls themselves are rendered as collectible-looking spheres within the diorama, inviting builders to stage their own recreations of the wish-summing ritual that has driven the plot of the franchise for decades. At over 12.5 inches (32 cm) high, 9.5 inches (24 cm) long, and 10 inches (26 cm) wide, the finished model is designed to make a commanding presence on any shelf.

While the Shenron & Goku set is the first of its kind, Lego made clear that it is not a limited one-off release. Instead, it represents the launch of a broader collaboration with Toei Animation, with more Dragon Ball sets slated for future years. The Lego Icons Dragon Ball Shenron & Goku set carries a recommended retail price of $179.99, alongside £129.99 in the UK and €139.99 across Europe. Targeted at builders aged 18 and up, the set is positioned squarely within the adult collector market. It will be available through Lego Stores and at lego.com/DragonBall, with Lego Insiders members granted early access on November 1, 2026, and the general public able to purchase it starting November 4, 2026.
