September has arrived, bringing with it a fresh wave of exciting new LEGO sets that are sure to delight fans of all ages. While not as jam-packed as August, this month still offers a diverse range of builds, from sprawling Harry Potter landscapes to iconic movie vehicles and beloved characters.
A Galaxy of New Builds
The colossal Harry Potter Ministry of Magic set is a true centerpiece for any collection. This impressive three-story build features the bustling train station above, the grand Ministry chambers in the middle, and the mysterious Hall of Prophecy below. With 14 minifigures including iconic characters like Harry, Dumbledore, and Voldemort, this set offers endless possibilities for imaginative play and display.
For fans of Tim Burton’s Batman Returns, LEGO has recreated the sleek and menacing Batmobile in brick form. This is the first time LEGO has tackled this particular vehicle, and the result is a phenomenal build that even transforms into the Batmissile for those high-speed escapes. It remains to be seen if this set will earn its place among the best LEGO Batman sets ever created.
Iconic Characters Join the Brick World
SpongeBob SquarePants fans are in for a treat with the new Bikini Bottom set. This colorful and whimsical build features SpongeBob’s iconic pineapple house, Squidward’s Easter Island-inspired home, Patrick’s rock, and more. It’s a perfect way for LEGO enthusiasts who grew up watching the show to relive their favorite moments.
LEGO has also expanded its offerings with new sets based on popular franchises like Star Trek: The Original Series, Shrek, and even Nike Air Force 1. The Gremlins BrickHeadz figures of Gizmo and Stripe are particularly charming, while the LEGO advent calendars are now available for those eager to start counting down to Christmas.
Darkness Descends with the Midnight Valley Collection
For those who prefer a touch of mystery and intrigue, the new LEGO Midnight Valley Collection offers a glimpse into a world of Gothic manors and ghostly figures. This unique set features a decrepit and off-angled manor with pale, glow-in-the-dark minifigures and two floors of spooky interiors.
