Official accounts for K/DA, the virtual girl group tied to League of Legends, have been updated for the first time in six years, fueling speculation that the act is preparing for a comeback.
The reactivated profiles now display profile and banner images profile and banner images drawn from the group’s 2020 All Out era, with the addition of hot pink flames. Existing posts have been removed, a move fans often interpret as preparation for an announcement.

K/DA debuted at the 2018 League of Legends World Championship, featuring four game characters—Ahri, Akali, Evelynn, and Kai’Sa—voiced by pop singers Madison Beer, Soyeon, Miyeon, and Jaira Burns. Its debut single, POP/STARS, became the first K-pop song by a girl group to earn RIAA Platinum certification in 2022, prompting the release of the All Out EP in 2020.
The group has remained largely inactive since then. Skins remain available in-game, but no new music or performances have been announced until now.
I’m not asking for much. I just want to see a teaser from K/DA that’s as peak as this.

An updated banner image leaks continues to feature promotional art from the All Out era, showing the four members alongside Seraphine, who was a newly released champion at the time. As of October 13, those images also show hot pink and magenta flames.
Data-mined details from earlier this year raised hopes that the group would play some role in the current season of League of Legends. Details in a Wild Rift update, first spotted by SkinSpotlights, pointed to a potential “Firestarter” skin concept as well as a new song registered on the ASCAP Repertory.
Other users have interpreted purple smoke seen in promotional imagery as a sign that K/DA may be added to Fortnite, which is currently using similarly colored visuals for its Fortnitemares event.
The question of K/DA’s return extends beyond Riot Games, depending partly on the availability of the four singers associated with the group.
Fan accounts recently began circulating circulating the rumor that Beer would leave the group. Asked about returning to K/DA during her recent Locket tour, Beer said via saying: “I would love to. It’s not really up to me, although I wish it was. There actually was a conversation a few years ago about doing something again, but I don’t know what happened to it.”
Riot has yet to confirm any rumors of a K/DA comeback or clarify who currently makes up the group. The League of Legends World Championship is being hosted across the United States, with the Grand Final scheduled for November 14. Because K/DA debuted at Worlds, there’s a possibility more will be announced during this year’s event.
