After April and May delivered a flood of Game of the Year contenders, June appears poised to offer players a breather—a chance to clear the backlog and revel in the spectacle that once defined “E3 week,” now rebranded as Summer Game Fest.
With Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest looming, we anticipate that some of June’s lineup will debut during the event, known for its surprise announcements and stealth releases.
June is shaping up to be a month dominated by major ports and remakes, with the Nintendo Switch 2 taking center stage. The console has already secured high‑profile titles such as Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and the newly released Star Fox, cementing its status as the flagship platform for the upcoming releases.
Available on PC, Nintendo Switch, the upcoming Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
