Jirachi Debuts in Pokémon Pokopia Next Week – Limited Time

From June 23, the beloved Wish Pokémon Jirachi will grace the world of Pokémon Pokopia, bringing a celestial glow to the game’s virtual streets.

During the Jirachi event, the Pokémon Center will be transformed into a star‑lit wonderland, and a fresh array of star‑themed items will be added to the in‑game shop.

Players will have the chance to collect shimmering wish notes that appear exclusively during this event, which can then be traded for exclusive Jirachi‑inspired gear.

This marks Pokémon Pokopia’s latest limited‑time event, and it’s the first since the game’s launch that isn’t already baked into the original data, meaning players will need to download an update to access the festivities.

When the Pokémon Pokopia update first hit the servers, players discovered a clever trick: by advancing the in‑game clock, they could trigger a handful of time‑limited events, including those featuring Sableye and Hopip. This discovery turned the update into a mini‑strategy guide for those eager to snag exclusive content.

However, the highly coveted Jirachi event was omitted from the initial release. As a result, fans will have to wait until June 23 to finally add the elusive Mythical Pokémon to their roster. This delay has sparked a flurry of speculation about the event’s duration and the possibility of future players missing out entirely.

In a joint announcement last week, Nintendo and The Pokémon Company confirmed that Pokémon Pokopia will receive a series of expansions in the months ahead, promising fresh challenges and new characters for the community to explore.

The first free update, scheduled for August, will grant players the ability to dive beneath the waves, where they can cultivate grass, construct buildings, and fashion their own aquatic villages alongside Pokémon.

Alongside the free content, a paid expansion will unlock a brand‑new underwater settlement called Bubbly Basin, complete with fresh apparel, furnishings, and Pokémon. A second paid expansion is slated for release in late 2026, while the final, third expansion is expected to arrive in 2027.
