How to Unlock the Passcode-Locked Door in CRACK

In the CRACK‘s lab, there are multiple doors that unlock as you progress through the game, granting access to new features. The only door that doesn’t unlock on its own is Redacted, which is locked behind a passcode.

Here’s everything you need to figure out the passcode and unlock the Redacted door in CRACK.

How to unlock the passcode-locked door in CRACK

To open the Redacted door, you need to find a six-digit passcode. This passcode is different in every playthrough. In the first playthrough, our code was 992337, but in the second, the same code didn’t work. The numbers are hidden in three places around the lab, and to reveal them, you need a UV Flashlight.

How to get the UV Flashlight in CRACK

The UV Flashlight is in the ventilation, above the Breakroom. The only way to get there is by building a scaffold using the Toolbox and a Hammer. Keep in mind that you won’t be able to reach it until you unlock custom scaffolding. If you don’t have it unlocked, keep completing main objectives.

Build the scaffold and use a Hammer’s right-click to remove the bolts from the ventilation hatch. Our scaffold was three towers next to each other for increased support. Jump inside to find the UV Flashlight and several lore bits about the previous crew.

UV Flashlight reveals what’s written in the egg goo around the lab. The goo looks like smeared yellowish paint. There are many secrets to discover, and also the passcode digits.

The first two digits are in the Breakroom Expansion room (where all the slot machines are). As you walk through the door, look right and point the flashlight at the wall to see the numbers. Note the numbers and their placements before moving to the Vehicle Bay.

The next pair of numbers is in the Vehicle Bay. Walk inside and look at the wall on the right to reveal two more numbers. Much like before, note the numbers and their placement before heading to the Redacted door.

The last two numbers are above the keypad at the Redacted door. Now that you have all six numbers, enter the passcode to open the door. Inside, there are multiple computers with more information about the lab and even additional controls.
