Control Resonant has introduced a fresh collectible hunt for players exploring the reimagined Manhattan, and a complete walkthrough now reveals the locations of all 11 Dylan’s Sketchbook sketches scattered throughout the game’s zones. These hidden puzzle sketches, which require players to arrange set pieces into specific compositions, are spread across Downtown, Central, the West Incursion Zone, the Evacuation Zone, The Park, the Underpass, and the Unknown, with several demanding advanced traversal abilities to reach. Completing every sketch rewards players with the Unfinished Lollipop artifact, an undefined reading, and the “Work-Life Balance” achievement.
The Dylan’s Sketchbook collectibles are not simply waiting to be picked up; each one presents a small environmental puzzle where players must position objects to match a target composition. Some sketches sit in easily accessible open areas, while others perch atop buildings or behind barriers that require the game’s signature supernatural movement tools. Before beginning the hunt, players are advised to secure two key traversal abilities early in the journey, as several sketches remain locked behind them.
Preparing for the Hunt
Before setting out to collect every sketch, players should grab both the Reach and Shift abilities from the faults located in the Evacuation Zone and West Incursion Zone respectively. These traversal tools unlock access to sketches hidden on rooftops and elevated platforms that would otherwise be unreachable. Equally important is using the radar during the search, as each set piece appears on the radar as a puzzle piece icon. This lets players track down the scattered components efficiently rather than wandering aimlessly through the map in search of fitting items.
Every Dylan’s Sketchbook is a small puzzle that rewards observation and the right traversal setup, so make sure you have Reach and Shift before you start hunting.
Control Resonant Guide
Downtown and Central Sketches
The Downtown zone holds two sketches, Beach Day and Rooftop Oasis. Beach Day sits on a construction site in the northeast corner of Downtown, directly below Lookout Point, where players arrange beach equipment with the umbrella positioned at the back and the chair in front. Rooftop Oasis lies inside the Dense Patterning area in the northwest corner, accessible only via Shift, and requires players to place swans on leaves and plants on bricks. In Central, The Cat Picnic appears in an open area within a U-shaped building reached from the eastern entrance, asking players to set a basket on a picnic blanket and place cat statues beside the plates. Live on Stage is tucked inside the Collector’s Apartment on the southwestern street of Central, the same location that launches the “The Complete Set” side quest, where players must arrange microphones, guitars, a keyboard, and cymbals onto their stands.

Incursion, Evacuation, and Park Sketches
The West Incursion Zone features the Halloween Party sketch atop a building with an Urban Fresh Mart, just northeast of the checkpoint, though reaching it requires the Reach ability. This sketch challenges players to make the set symmetrical using the already-placed half as a guide. The Evacuation Zone contains two sketches: Robotics, hidden inside a brick warehouse in the southwest corner where a vending machine is transformed into a robot using a spotlight, curved pipes, and T-shaped pipes, and Dream House, found on the second-highest floor of a northeastern construction site, requiring players to position roof panels, wood panels, plants, and pets. The Park’s Dragon and the Knight sketch lives inside Park Valley Station, where fences become a dragon’s wings, traffic cones form its back spikes, and pizza slices serve as its teeth.
The Underpass, Unknown, and Final Rewards
The Underpass hosts Space Adventure atop a pillar northwest of the Research Site, best reached by progressing through the “Recursions and Iterations” quest before gliding and Reach-ing across. The Unknown zone contains the final two sketches, Art Exhibition and Game Night. Art Exhibition sits inside a Könstig art gallery near the center, behind a Hiss barrier that must be cleared before players can match objects to their corresponding white backdrops. Game Night rests on a small southeastern island, unlocked by placing pylons from Pope’s research balloon across the middle and southwestern islands, then completed by arranging candles, pizza, and a mannequin. After finding and completing all 11 Dylan’s Sketchbook drawings, players receive the Unfinished Lollipop artifact, an undefined reading, and the “Work-Life Balance” achievement.
