•In Valor Mortis’s “The Scarecrow” quest, players must recover two possessions belonging to the unfortunate soul tied up in a field: a medallion and a note containing a drawing.
The medallion can be found just to the left of the scarecrow. A short path through the field leads to a cross resting against a tree, where a corpse appears to have dropped it.
Finding the note with the drawing is more involved. Progress through the level until you unlock the shortcut gate near the big house, which leads back toward the “Fields” lantern.
From that lantern, follow the path until you reach the gate to the open area guarded by a Volunteer enemy and its carriage. Turn left before this gate instead of proceeding.
Continue through the haystacks toward the house in the distance. Note the barn with a diamond-shaped window on your right, as you will return there later. Enter the house through the back door and head upstairs to retrieve the note from a table.
Once both items have been returned to the scarecrow, players must locate the lover’s old hideaway in the hayloft of that barn near the big house. Follow the same route as before, but after turning left before the gate, make your way toward the barn and climb into the hayloft from the back.
Inside, you’ll encounter an echo depicting the lovers meeting one another. Completing the quest rewards players with the Bountiful Harvest amber, which grants health when collecting Nephtoglobin remnants.
