Hold onto your hats, folks, because another juicy leak has surfaced regarding Rockstar Games’ highly anticipated title, Grand Theft Auto 6. This time, we’re getting a glimpse into what appears to be a nudist colony in Leonida, and let’s just say it’s not for the faint of heart. Prepare yourselves for some…unfiltered content.
Leonida: A Glimpse Into Paradise (or Not)
The leaked clip, clocking in at a few minutes, shows protagonist Jason strolling near a pool and several hot tubs. The scene is populated by dozens of individuals, all enjoying the freedom of being…unclothed. Some seem relatively unfazed by Jason’s presence, while others are clearly annoyed by this fully clothed interloper wandering around with binoculars. One woman, in particular, takes umbrage at Jason’s “leering” and promptly attacks him. We can’t say we blame her.
While these leaks might seem damaging, a former technical director at Rockstar believes they won’t have a significant impact on most players. He argues that the controversy surrounding these snippets is minor compared to the infamous “Hot Coffee” incident in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. However, Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar’s parent company, is actively pursuing legal action, attempting to identify and apprehend the source of these leaks.
Despite the ongoing leak saga, anticipation for GTA 6 remains incredibly high. We’re eagerly awaiting the first official gameplay reveal on August 27, exclusively on Netflix. The full game will launch for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19. Until then, we can only speculate about what other surprises Leonida – and the rest of Vice City – has in store for us.
