With only three weeks remaining until GTA 6 becomes available to the public, new information has emerged that may surprise some players. The game is expected to be massive, and this extends to its download size, with new figures suggesting it will require over 200 GB of storage space.

PlayStation Game Size, the X account that has consistently shared game sizes ahead of release, has done the same for GTA 6 . On PS5, the game will be 210 GB—that’s a quarter of the available storage on a standard PS5. Players will be able to pre-load from November 12 and jump into the game on November 19. It seems gamers will need to do some organizing to make room for GTA 6 . A similar game size can be expected for the Xbox Series consoles.
PS5 Pro owners should feel more comfortable with this amount of space, as the console comes equipped with a 2TB internal drive.
Interestingly, the infamous leaker CyberLeek had previously claimed a 200+ GB size for the playable build that he/they had access to. Since then, it was anticipated that the game would be huge on consoles, and it appears CyberLeek was correct. At one point, the hacker threatened to release the full build but later decided against doing so.
