Sony has unveiled the collector box for bağlantı”>God of War Laufey, a $150 package that includes an eight-inch light-up statue of character Faye but does not come with any copy of the game.
The Collector Box costs $149.99 and features a statue depicting Faye, Phranque, and Rue fighting against Begtse’s soldiers. The figure lights up when plugged into a USB power source, according to Sony’s description. However, it does not include a steelbook with a disc copy of the game or any physical or digital version.

The box also contains a 51-card Oracle Deck featuring custom illustrations by Megan Lara, and a physical mini artbook of concept art hand-selected by the art team at Santa Monica Studio.
Preorders opened today at 10am PT through PlayStation Direct, with Sony warning that stock is limited. The box will be available in “highly limited quantities” exclusively direct from PlayStation on February 16, 2027 for a recommended retail price of $149.99 USD / €149.99 / £129.99.

The release follows the precedent set by Grand Theft Automat 6, which also received a collector box without the game itself. Many are drawing comparisons to that offering, though some may find God of War Laufey’s package more acceptable given its lower price point and inclusion of a statue.

GTA 6’s box costs $400 and includes Vice City-themed merchandise such as sunglasses, a hat, and a figure of a cartoon gator named Macca. It drew criticism for not including a statue of protagonists Jason and Lucia, with fans suggesting it could have been cheaper.
The God of War Laufey box feels somewhat lacking compared to previous collector’s editions. Ragnarok’s edition included Thor’s hammer, a steelbook (without a game disc), DLC, codes for PS4 and PS5 copies, and additional trinkets. The 2018 game’s edition featured a statue of Kratos and Atreus, a steelbook with a disc, a physical map, a lithograph, two small figures of Brok and Sindri, and digital content.
While this is likely intended as an add-on for those already planning to buy the game, some fans expressed disappointment that it does not include at least a complimentary upgrade to the game’s digital deluxe edition, which offers special armor and weapons in the full game.
