Game Overview & History

SpEx is an Asteroids (Atari 1979) and Lunar Lander (Atari 1979) inspired video game.

You control a spaceship that you have to land on a landing pad on a planet to refuel. as you progress, the more landing pads you have to land on, and the less fuel they provide.Don’t run out of fuel!

Gameplay Mechanics & Systems

The controls are quite simple, use the left and right arrow keys to rotate the ship, the up and down keys for forward and backward thrust and [Esc] to access the pause menu.

Possible plans for this game in the future include: multiple planets with a navigation system, zoom-in when landing, ship upgrades, enemies and asteroids.

This is the first video game I made, I hope you enjoy it.
