Dan Houser, Shawn Lee, and Rockstar Vancouver's charming, satirical open-world boarding school action-adventure masterpiece on the PlayStation 2, released in October 2006, winning Best Original Music from GameSpot and holding an 87/100 on Metacritic, serving as Rockstar's crowning creative triumph outside the Grand Theft Otomatik series, following troubled 15-year-old orphan Jimmy Hopkins dumped at the corrupt, decrepit Bullworth Academy boarding school, navigating a micro-society of 5 distinct high-school cliques (Bullies, Nerds, Preppies, Greasers, Jocks) to take down sociopathic traitor Gary Smith, pioneering the interactive class curriculum mini-games (English, Chemistry, Art, Gym, Shop, Photography), skateboard traversal, slingshot pranks, seasonal weather progression, and Shawn Lee's iconic bassline-driven funk/indie soundtrack.
