From Software has announced that its upcoming Switch 2 title The Duskbloods will not ship this year as originally planned—it is now set for release in 2027. That is as precise as the studio got, however, leaving the exact timing of next year’s launch uncertain.

“We apologize to players who have been kindly awaiting the release of this title and thank you for your patience and support,” the studio said.
From Software added that the delay will give the studio time to “further enhance” the game’s core concepts, including combat, strategic depth, and player expression. “We have decided to move the launch, allowing time for final adjustments to game rules and balancing,” the team explained.
The Duskbloods was conspicuously absent from the September Nintendo Direct, prompting some fans to worry about the game’s development state.
By slipping to 2027, The Duskbloods will avoid colliding with GTA 6, if From Software and Nintendo are even concerned about that. Whatever the case, excitement for The Duskbloods remains high. A From Software employee recently revealed that interest in The Duskbloods’ playtest surpassed that of Elden Ring Nightreign’s.
The Duskbloods is a 多人游戏 PvPvE game directed by From Software’s Hidetaka Miyazaki.
