Forza Horizon 6 Series 2 Update Refines AI, Simplifies Road Discovery

Forza Horizon 6 is gearing up for its second wave of live content with a fresh update already live.

Fans can look forward to the launch of Series 2 live challenges on Thursday, June 18, which will introduce a new set of weekly objectives that unlock a roster of coveted cars and additional rewards.

The latest patch, released ahead of the new challenges, refines AI opponent behavior and streamlines road discovery, among a host of other quality‑of‑life tweaks.

Patch notes detail enhancements to difficulty balancing and a revised Drivatar start‑race routine, ensuring a more engaging and fair racing experience.

For players still chasing the elusive 100% road discovery, a new visual cue has been added to the Region Overview screen. A “Roads Driven” percentage now appears, instantly highlighting which roads remain unexplored and streamlining the path to full completion.

The Horizon Play mode, home to the game’s online multiplayer races, has received a significant balancing update. Playground Games announced that the experience‑gain curve between levels 26 and 100 has been accelerated, allowing players to rack up more XP in less time.

Playground Games also clarified that the Performance Index (PI) cost for Drag Tires remains unchanged. Consequently, existing tunes—such as an A 700—will retain their PI rating but will suffer a noticeable drop in cornering performance, ensuring that players can still experiment with tuning without altering their PI budget.

The developers acknowledge that a substantial number of leaderboard entries will need to be purged. Over the coming weeks, they will systematically locate and delete any lap times recorded with Drag Tires before the latest patch.

Importantly, the update targets only the cornering performance of Drag Tires, leaving straight‑line speeds and Drag‑specific leaderboards unaffected.
