I’ve been stress-testing my setup across multiple competitive titles and keep hitting the same wall with wireless peripheral consistency. I run a 2.4GHz RF dongle on a USB 3.0 header positioned right next to a WiFi 6E radio, and I’m seeing polling jitter spike whenever my router and phone are both blasting on 5GHz behind the desk. Before I write up a community build guide, I need real numbers, not marketing specs. For those running both RF and Bluetooth on the same rig: have you measured actual input latency differences in a live FPS environment, or are you mostly trusting manufacturer claims?

Straight talk on the numbers: a quality 2.4GHz dongle-based receiver (Lightspeed, HyperSpeed, Quantum, etc.) typically delivers 1-3ms of total input-to-render latency at a native 1000Hz poll rate, and newer 2000Hz/4000Hz models push that well under 1ms of pure polling interval. Bluetooth, even on 5.x with BLE, is in a completely different ballpark—most headsets and mice sit at 125-250Hz polling with 8-20ms+ added latency because the stack
