VRS Tier 2 uses 4×4 pixel granularity for shading rate modulation, but in fast-twitch competitive titles like Valorant or CS2 where I’m tracking at 240+ FPS, I genuinely don’t know how you reconcile per-tile shading granularity with the perceptual threshold for motion artifacts. When you’re flicking across a map, at what angular velocity in the peripheral field does the blockiness become distracting rather than just a minor resolution dip?
