I’ve been running VRS Tier 2 (per-tile shading) in competitive shooters like Valorant and CS2 at 240Hz+, mostly to shave latency off the GPU pipeline, but I’m hitting inconsistent behavior I can’t pin down.

My main worry is that coarse/foveated shading is causing intermittent frame-time spikes instead of a clean FPS drop—so?

Here’s my take after spending way too long chasing down VRS behavior on competitive titles.
