I’ve been pulling my hair out tuning LLC on the new Z790 board, and I want to hear how others are handling transient response on high-core-count chips. When I step LLC from تلقائي down to Level 3, my vcore overshoots hard on load drops during competitive matches — hitting ~1.55V spikes that then trigger throttling on the next load transient. Is anyone successfully running a flatter LLC curve (Level 5-6) while still catching those sub-microsecond dips below 0.85V during sudden occupancy swings in ranked play? What’s your target Vdroop voltage at full all-core load on a 250W+ SKU?

المزيد specifically, how are you balancing stability against boost behavior? I’ve noticed that too much droop tuning kills single-core boost clocks, but leaving it loose causes instability in engine-level stress tests. Do you run Load-Line Calibration per-package or rely on the board’s default droop curve, and have you found a sweet spot that preserves boost while keeping undershoot under 0.1V? Any real-world benchmarks comparing LLC levels during actual gameplay load spikes would help me settle this.
