I’ve been going deep on IEMs for my competitive setup and want to hear from people actually running them live at tournaments. What’s your real-world experience with custom-molded silicone shells versus universal fit when it comes to noise isolation on a loud stage? I’m also wondering how much ear canal resonance actually shifts the sound signature for you, and whether you’ve hit frequency buildup around 2–4kHz that causes fatigue over long sets.

For those blending IEMs with headphones, how do you manage the monitor mix versus game audio — dual setups or a blended approach? What are you doing about stage noise bleed, white noise damping, isolation tips, or something else entirely? And for those who switched from foam to silicone tips, did
