I play a ton of CS2 and Valorant at 240Hz on a 27-inch IPS and I’ve started noticing something weird during long gaming marathons or LAN nights. When I first boot up, my crosshair tracking feels crisp with zero white halos around targets. But after 3-4 hours, especially when the room gets stuffy and the AC isn’t keeping up, I start seeing these faint white outlines ‘ringing’ around moving enemies, and the motion feels slightly mushier. I initially blamed myself, but my buddy ran the same settings and got the same thing on his panel. Is this just my monitor dying, or does heat actually mess with the overdrive? Any fix for this short of cranking the AC?
