    Hey everyone,

Wanted to open up a serious discussion on Damage Indicators: Minimalist Audio Cues vs Giant Floating Numbers & Hitmarkers.

From my testing and competitive experience: You shouldn’t need arcade floating ‘124’ numbers above heads; blood splatters and hit sounds are enough.

Floating yellow numbers blocking your vision of the enemy behind the target you’re currently shooting.

Honestly disagree with that take. Curved displays bend straight lines; holding pixel angles and crosshair height consistency is impossible.

Honestly disagree with that take. A floating gun that stays completely frozen while your legs sprint forward looks like a 1995 cardboard game.
