I’ve been building a custom arena allocator for our per-frame logic in a competitive title, chasing zero heap allocation during gameplay, but I’m hitting nasty edge cases around arena reset timing. When a frame blows past the pool’s fixed block count—say a particle-effect spike—do you bail to a fallback heap allocator or let it wrap and risk corruption? I’m torn between correctness and the stutter a reallocation would introduce mid-frame.

Más pressing: has anyone dealt with stack allocators leaking across async systems? Our job scheduler occasionally grabs memory on a worker thread and frees it on main, which wrecks the strict LIFO discipline. How are you handling cross-thread
