While Valve claims sub-tick registers tick-accurate packet timestamps regardless of framerate, high-level Faceit players argue that bullet registry and spray control still feel substantially crisper on dedicated 128-tick community match servers.

Has anyone analyzed their local net_graph telemetry or frame pacing? Does the sub-tick delay on peekers advantage feel like networking interpolation or true client-server desync?

Honestly disagree with that take. Controllers use an analog stick with 1cm range of motion; without assist crossplay is impossible.
