I’ve been chasing 1% lows in competitive titles on my 7800X3D, and I keep hitting a wall I can’t isolate: when the scheduler routes threads across the X3D CCD and the non-cache CCD, do y’all see measurable frame-time spikes from the cross-CCD communication latency, or is the Infinity Fabric penalty mostly theoretical? Specifically, what L3 hit rate in-game are you folks actually seeing before the extra cache stops paying off? I’ve benchmarked my own setup and I’m noticing stutter patterns that correlate with core parking behavior, so I’m wondering whether the power management driver is parking cores on the wrong CCD or if there’s a scheduling quirk in how the OS threads the X3D cluster.

For anyone running dual-CCD X3D builds, how are you handling core parking and affinity for esports titles where low latency trumps raw throughput? Have you found a driver config or manual thread affinity that eliminates the inter-CCD stalls, or is it just a hardware tax you have to live with? What mitigation strategies actually worked for you, and did you hit any weird edge cases like thermal throttling on the cache-heavy CCD spilling over to neighbors? I want to hear real root-cause debugging stories, not marketing numbers.
