I’ve been benchmarking cache hit rates across a range of competitive titles on my 7800X3D and noticing something that bugs me. When the game’s working set spills past that enormous stacked L3, what’s the actual latency penalty when data has to cross back to the non-X3D CCDs on a dual-CCD build? I’ve seen micro-stutters in CS2 and Valorant that line up with cross-CCD transfers, but I can’t isolate whether it’s the V-Cache die-to-die hop or just core parking kicking in. Have any of you measured the real-world frame-time deltas when a workload straddles both CCDs, and what L3 hit rate threshold is where you start seeing the penalty?

Also, on core parking—do you all keep it fully disabled during gameplay, or have you found a tuned profile that balances background responsiveness without injecting latency spikes? I’ve been fighting edge cases where the scheduler parks performance cores mid-round. Anyone cracked a reliable config, or is manual disabling still the only clean path?
