Beyond Sonic, “Override” promises a wave of guest appearances from across gaming history. While some were hoping for even more collaboration skins directly in the Battle Pass, keep an eye on the Item Shop! Shadow and Doctor Eggman are already confirmed, but players can also look forward to characters from Kingdom Hearts, Pac-Man, Mega Man, Persona 5, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, 99 Nights in the Forest, Crash Bandicoot, and Spyro. The possibilities seem endless!
To maximize your experience, dive into the new gameplay mechanics. Jump onto the island and start completing quests to earn XP and level up quickly. For a quick boost, use the admin panel in the lobby to try the new Lobby Hacks mechanic, which grants useful bonuses. Start off the season with the “OverrideXP” code, which grants 40,000 XP — the equivalent of half a season level.
Explore the island to find Cheat Codes that summon sprites. Use them to call a Tetris Rift and spawn Tetriminos for some block-stacking fun. The Override Console spawns each match and grants special in-game abilities, but be warned: it also marks your (or your squad’s) location on the map! And don’t miss out on Sonic’s Power Sneakers, which let you soar across the island with incredible speed. Mega Man’s Mega Buster and Midas’s Masterpiece are some of the most powerful weapons currently available, but more surprises are yet to come.
Chapter 7 Season 4 is scheduled to wrap up on October 31st. After that, it will likely make way for the annual mini-season before Chapter 8 begins.
