•Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have released an expansion pass for Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, introducing a string of DLC additions to the tactical RPG starting today and running into 2027.
The expansion pass is available on the Nintendo eShop for $34.99 / £29.99 and comes in three parts. Those who purchase it now gain access to a selection of weapons usable within the game, with the second portion arriving during this holiday season and the final segment coming in 2027.
The company has already revealed details about some upcoming DLC releases. The second portion will feature additional outfits for the game’s cast, alongside three new allies: Aurora, Smyrnos, and Jurah.
The final segment of the pass appears to be the most substantial, introducing new stories to play, new allies, classes, and additional content. Those new stories make an already chunky game even larger, something that should give people a reason to go back to the RPG next year, and those yet to pick up the game, a convenient jumping-on point.
Fortune’s Weave has been met with critical acclaim and sizable early sales figures. In Eurogamer’s review, the game is described as “a synergy of everything that has made the series great for generations”, and “a sumptuous feast of a game”.
