Global classification boards frequently leak game announcements ahead of official reveals, and this instance appears to follow that pattern once again.
Recent developments in the gaming landscape are shaping expectations for upcoming titles, particularly as industry insiders confirm that Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition may soon transition to the Switch 2 platform. This announcement comes after the original series made waves on multiple platforms, beginning with its 2019 launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, and later expanding to the Special Editions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2020. The ongoing presence of Devil May Cry across the eShop underscores its enduring popularity among fans.
The strongest news value lies in this potential Switch 2 release, which could mark a significant milestone for Capcom and a major shift in how classic series are reintroduced to next-generation hardware. Such a move would not only revive nostalgia but also demonstrate Capcom’s commitment to evolving its portfolio for modern audiences.
