GTA 6 is just a few weeks away from launch, and to mark the occasion, Xbox is bringing the wildlife of Leonidas into gamers’ living rooms with a unique console.

The Xbox Series Fortunately, that is not the case; This life-size fake crocodile was created in collaboration with the John Nolan Studio, which created special effects for the Netflix series “The Witcher”, “Jurassic World Dominion” and the upcoming Harry Potter series on HBO.
To turn on the console, simply press the Xbox button on the Gator’s back; in his jaws he carefully holds a controller that bears teeth marks as evidence of his insatiable appetite. Even the pupils in his eyes are shaped like an X and outlined in green to match the Xbox branding.

This strange mix of technology and artwork is not an avant-garde installation in the offices of Microsoft; Starting today, November 3rd, fans can enter a raffle to win the quirky console for themselves. Here’s how you can take part:

The competition runs until 11:59 p.m. PT on November 10, 2026. The lucky winner will have 48 hours to claim the console; Should he fail to do so, the alligator will “make a clean getaway.” Additionally, the Sweepstakes is open only to residents of the 50 U.S. states and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years old.

While Xbox didn’t specifically mention GTA 6 in its posts about this unique competition, it’s hard not to see why it was done; The game is set in a fictional version of Florida, which, as most people know, is home to all sorts of creatures, including alligators. (It’s unclear if players will be able to wrestle alligators with their bare hands like they do in real Florida, but we think the X-Bite is the next best thing.)
GTA 6 will be released on November 19th on PS5, PS5 Pro and Xbox Series X|S. (Or the X-Bite.) The install size and global release times were already announced this morning, with preload dates for November 9th and 10th also confirmed.
Since the file size is 212GB, Rockstar has urged players to preload the game on their consoles as soon as possible. “Make sure you have enough storage space to start preloading as early as possible,” Rockstar said on the game’s official website.
Fans are more eager than ever to get their hands on a copy of GTA 6, to the point where quite a few IGN readers are actually ditching work to play it. A separate survey by Unwind Media even revealed worrying statistics that show a staggering number of players so desperate to experience the game early that they would even give up their pets if it meant they could experience it a week before launch.
