According to a report for Gamer24h Polygon, Daily Red is a fan-made Pokémon game playable in the browser that offers a daily battle challenge inspired by the structure of Wordle. Each day, players attempt to defeat the legendary trainer Red using a different set of Pokémon.
In Daily Red, players face Red once per day with a team of six random Pokémon from Generations 1 through 3. Red leads with Pikachu and always fields the same lineup that players encounter when they find him on Mt. Silver in Johto: Pikachu, Espeon, Snorlax, Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise. This fixed roster lets players grow more familiar with it over time.

A fan-made Pokémon game challenges you to battle Red with a random team every day
Before battling, the game advises analyzing your daily team so players can understand its strengths and weaknesses and decide which Pokémon to lead. A practice run is available before committing to the actual battle, though once the real match concludes, further play continues only for practice—the result becomes locked in.
The goal is to beat Red and build a winning streak. Progress cannot currently be saved through an account; instead it is stored locally within the browser. After each battle, players can share their results grid with friends or on social media. A loss produces red squares indicating how many of Red’s Pokémon fainted, while a win shows a green square for each of the player’s Pokémon that did not faint.
The simulator uses Generation 3 rules. The game’s FAQ section explains what distinguishes this ruleset and offers tips on beating Red. Players can also use Pokémon Showdown, a popular battle simulator, to train, as it provides customizable advanced settings.
