Treyarch has officially confirmed that the legendary Call of Duty titles Black Ops and Black Ops 2 will launch on both PS5 and PS4 in July, ending years of speculation.

For years, these iconic games have been trapped in the PS3 “jail,” alongside numerous other titles. Iron Galaxy will now port them to modern PlayStation hardware, restoring them to the platform’s library.

The ports will feature the full spectrum of content—campaign, multiplayer, and zombies—ensuring fans receive the complete experience. Whether the re-release will be a straight one‑for‑one port or include additional enhancements remains to be seen.
