Konami is ringing in the 40th anniversary of the Castlevania franchise with a touring power rock symphony that will bring the series’ iconic soundtrack to audiences in Tokyo, London, and Los Angeles. The officially licensed concert, produced by Lambert Jackson productions and featuring all-new arrangements by composer Adam Hoskins, is set to play across three dates in March 2027, offering longtime fans a chance to hear the music that has defined the vampire-slaying series for four decades.
The show traces the franchise’s musical evolution from the very first Castlevania title released in 1986 through the modern era, and will include the first-ever live performance of music from the upcoming Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse. Comprising a 25-piece power rock orchestra, the production marries the series’ signature symphonic rock sound with a full-scale concert experience.
A Symphony Built for Four Decades
Castlevania has long been defined by a distinctive musical identity that has persisted since the franchise’s debut in the 1980s. Popularized by composer Michiru Yamane during Symphony of the Night, the series earned its reputation for sweeping symphonic rock arrangements and soaring melodies that set it apart from nearly every other entry in the industry.
For this anniversary tour, Hoskins—the composer behind the viral Undertale: The Determination Symphony World Tour—has crafted all-new arrangements and orchestrations. Konami confirmed that the setlist will feature several fan-favorite tracks, including Bloody Tears, Vampire Killer, and Divine Bloodlines, alongside Dracula’s Castle from Symphony of the Night.
The concert will span three dates in March 2027, with performances held at prominent venues across three continents. The tour opens on 13 March at the Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, followed by a stop at London’s Eventim Apollo on 14 March, and closes on 26 March at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Tickets are available through the event’s official website, with sales rolling out on 1 October. The Los Angeles showing goes on sale at 10 AM PT, while the London show opens for purchase at 12 PM BST. The Tokyo performance will use a lottery-based pre-sale beginning at 12 PM JST, with general ticket sales to be announced at a later date.
Looking Ahead
As one of the few Castlevania concerts to receive official approval from Konami, the anniversary tour represents a rare opportunity to hear the series’ music performed live. Fans eager to get in the mood for the spooky season ahead can also revisit a 2019 performance by the Youth Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, which delivered nearly two hours of the franchise’s songs and featured a special appearance by Yamane herself.
With the tour set to kick off in March 2027 and Belmont’s Curse still on the horizon, Konami’s 40th-anniversary celebration offers a fitting tribute to a franchise whose melodies have echoed through four decades of gaming.
