An Irving Police Department incident report obtained by Dexerto states that officers initially responded to a possible domestic incident before the call became a welfare check.
The report states: “Call for a possible domestic in progress, became a well fare check. Reportee arrived on scene and provided further information which led to the authoring and issuance of a warrant for Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault causing SBI.”
The incident was reported at approximately 4:08am on October 14.
The report also lists a Glock 17 handgun and two magazines as property held for safekeeping. However, it does not indicate whether the firearm was connected to the alleged assault.
No further details about the alleged incident, including the circumstances surrounding the reported injuries, were provided in the publicly released report.
A Facebook post from “Irving Arrests” includes a mugshot.
Under Texas law, a second-degree felony carries a potential prison sentence of two to 20 years and a fine of up to $10,000 if convicted.
