Today, Activision unveiled Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, slated for release on October 23rd across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PC, and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 edition promises a fully featured experience, matching the depth of the console and PC titles.

Analyse: The simultaneous multi‑platform launch, including the newly announced Switch 2, signals Activision’s commitment to a broad audience and positions Modern Warfare 4 as a flagship title that could drive sales for next‑gen consoles.

Our extended previews dive into both the single‑player campaign and Mehrspieler modes, highlighting a new DMZ mode that centers on an escalating global conflict around the Korean Peninsula.

As the first Call of Duty title built entirely for current‑generation hardware, Modern Warfare 4 delivers visual fidelity surpassing any previous entry in the series, while adopting a darker, more mature tone that sets it apart from its predecessors.
