•Battlefield Studios has launched Battlefield 6 into Xbox Game Pass, making the first-person shooter available to subscribers on PC and console as well as through streaming.
The game’s arrival in Game Pass comes a year after its initial release. According to reports for Gamer24h.com, Battlefield 6 was among 2025’s best-selling games overall in the US before player numbers declined. The studio is attempting to re-engage fans by bringing the title to Game Pass and continuing support through major updates.
The latest of these, Season 5, launched today on October 13. It introduces new maps set in Las Vegas and Area 51, along with a server browser that players had requested since launch.

Battlefield Studios also announced a Game of the Year Edition for Battlefield 6. Its main feature is the Ultimate Shortcut Kit, which instantly unlocks everything across all four classes and includes one season of Battlefield Pro along with other digital perks.
The kit, previously available in earlier Battlefield titles, can be purchased separately for $30.
