Bandai Namco has said it will release bağlantı”>Ace Combat Zero: The Belkan War as a standalone app on PC, addressing complaints from players who were upset that the title was bundled into Ace Combat 8.

The announcement appeared on the game’s Steam page, where the studio said it would make the older title available separately. According to Wario64, who spotted the update, Bandai Namco confirmed the process is in “the final stages of quality assurance and compatibility testing” for a release date that has not yet been announced.

Players who pre-ordered Ace Combat 8 on PC or console received The Belkan War as one of their bonuses. One of the franchise’s most celebrated titles, it was first released in 2006 for PlayStation 2.

On consoles, the bonus came as its own game that could be launched separately from Ace Combat 8, complete with its own achievements and activity log. On PC, however, the two were combined into a single package, prompting frustration among players who shared their concerns on the Steam page.

The studio also said it plans to have Zero’s save data transfer over once the standalone application launches, so players won’t need to start all over again.
