The revelations come as Marvel prepares audiences for its next cinematic chapter, with the additional scenes reportedly filmed during Doomsday’s production.

The most significant of the leaked moments introduces characters whose presence in Doomsday had not previously been confirmed, suggesting a deeper integration of the franchise’s roster into the December release. A Reimagined Ending for Endgame

In the leaked version, however, the couple’s peaceful moment is interrupted by a knock at their door. Peggy cautiously opens it to reveal Loki, who greets the pair while Steve reacts with surprise.

Several details stand out immediately. This is the version of Loki who has joined the TVA — the Time Variance Authority, essentially Marvel’s multiverse police — but before he ascends to become the all-powerful replacement for Kang. The sequence aligns with long-held leaked information suggesting Loki relocates Steve, Peggy, and their son to another branch of the multiverse for their protection, several years before the main events of Doomsday unfold.

These extra moments are believed to have been filmed during Doomsday’s production, making it likely we’ll see more of these characters in December when the film arrives.

During Endgame Encore’s credits, the first all-new scene features Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, and briefly, off-screen, the Hulk. This appears to be the character’s first confirmed appearance in Avengers: Doomsday, after last being seen in poor condition at the end of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.

The scene picks up shortly after Hulk is taken away, seemingly out of action following a destructive stint as his green alter ego. Now secluded in an old military bunker two miles underground, Banner records a video in which he begins discussing his work on a new stabilizing serum, warning that no one may enter to disturb him. His recording — and his research — is then interrupted by the arrival of Doctor Doom, who enters the bunker unseen. We hear Robert Downey Jr.’s voice declare that he has come to “collect” Banner, as the scientist seemingly morphs into the Hulk once more. Whether Doom has enslaved the Hulk or sought to absorb his power remains to be seen.

The TVA Discovers a Collapsing Multiverse

The next all-new scene is set within the TVA, presumably in the period after Loki has ascended to godhood. His former colleagues Mobius (Owen Wilson), Casey (Eugene Cordero), and Ouroboros (Ke Huy Quan) panic as they spot two Earths from different universes about to collide and begin attacking one another. One of these worlds is Universe-1005, the Fox X-Men universe, which ties into long-held leaks that the mutant team has been surviving incursions by wiping out other universes first.

The situation quickly deteriorates as the TVA team realizes the entire multiverse is collapsing, with thousands of universes now at risk of annihilation through incursions. While some involvement of the TVA in Doomsday seemed likely, none of these characters have previously been confirmed to return for the film, and none have been seen since the finale of Loki, which wrapped up in 2023. Tara Strong’s animated Miss Minutes also features in the footage.

A Clever Iron Man Callback

At the end of Endgame Encore’s credits, one final snippet shows Doctor Doom hammering his metal mask into shape. This is a clear nod to Iron Man — also played by Robert Downey Jr. — who created his first mask in the same manner, and a reference to the original ending of Endgame, which featured the same hammer sounds heard here, drawn from the first 2008 Iron Man film.

Perhaps the Russo brothers always knew this post-credits tease would eventually be reworked to feature Doctor Doom. Or perhaps this is simply a remarkably clever callback that rewards longtime fans of the franchise.
