If you’re a fan of Star Fox 64 successors, then we’ve got a game just for you! Following the seemingly successful release of Wild Blue Skies on Xbox earlier this year, FUR Squadron Phoenix is now set to make its Xbox debut as well.
The game first launched on Steam in February, earning a “Mostly Positive” rating on that platform based on just 32 reviews. It appears the title hasn’t been that popular on PC, so there’s hope the Xbox release will drive a few more sales when it arrives for the Seri X and S on December 6th.
As shown above, FUR Squadron Phoenix features a roguelite campaign, and its most recent 2.0 update in August added an all‑new story campaign with Full Range Combat missions, compared to the original PC release.
We’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this one in December — you can check out more details and screenshots below.
Embark on an action-packed adventure in this on-rails space shooter. As a pilot in training, you’ll battle in strange virtual worlds. Master your ship, upgrade your skills, and protect the federation from an imminent threat. Are you ready for the challenge?
