During a more than one‑hour session of announcements at the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, several key updates were unveiled.

The long‑awaited remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was officially announced, accompanied by a concise trailer that confirmed a 2026 release. The game will be “reborn” on the forthcoming Nintendo Switch 2, though details on the gameplay experience remain under wraps.

A fresh trailer for Kingdom Hearts 4 was also showcased, with the title slated for launch on the Nintendo Switch 2.
