Hidden Treasure No. 1: Kiyomizu-zaka Slope

To begin your treasure hunt, speak with a woman northwest of the Gojo Street – West Spirit Mirror. She’s holding Old Drawing No. 1, which depicts a building with a pagoda in the background, located “at the top of Kiyomizu-zaka Slope.”

From the Kiyomizu-zaka Spirit Mirror, turn right onto a narrow path that leads behind some buildings. You’ll spot a ladder; climb it to reach the roof depicted in the drawing. Another ladder awaits you on the rooftop – ascend it to find the treasure chest. Simply use your gauntlet to reveal it.

Hidden Treasure No. 2: Yasaka Pagoda

The second hidden treasure quest is unlocked by speaking with a man near the Kiyomizu-zaka Slope Spirit Mirror. He’s holding Old Drawing No. 2, featuring a pagoda and a ladder as key visual cues. The description mentions “where the Buddhas overlook the flow.”

Head west of the Yasaka Pagoda Spirit Mirror and follow the narrow street down to find the ladder on the right side. Climb down, turn west, and you’ll discover a small waterfall adorned with Buddha statues. Use your gauntlet to reveal the hidden treasure chest.

Hidden Treasure No. 3: Shijo Street

For the third treasure, speak with a woman north of the map, west of the Shijo Street Spirit Mirror. She’s holding Old Drawing No. 3, which shows a gate leading to a garden and hints at “temples where dragons soar.”

While this drawing lacks specific landmarks, remember the area east of the Kami River – East Spirit Mirror where you faced the Genma brothers. Head to that arena and before entering the main building, turn right to access the east side of the garden. Walk near the gate to find the chest; use your gauntlet to reveal it.

Hidden Treasure No. 4: Gojo Street – East

To start the fourth quest, head to Shijo Street on the north side of the map and talk to the man selling geta. He’s holding Old Drawing No. 4, depicting a wraparound veranda with a pagoda in the distance.

The target is on the southeastern side of the map. Teleport to the Gojo Street – East Spirit Mirror, climb the stairs on the right, and walk along the wall to cross the gap. Take the path to the left, always heading northeast. At the highest point, you’ll find stone steps; climb them to reach the building. The hidden treasure chest is on the left side of the veranda.

Hidden Treasure No. 5: Yasaka Pagoda

To unlock the fifth and final Hidden Treasure quest, speak with a woman on the northern side of the map, west of the Shijo Street Spirit Mirror. She’s holding Old Drawing No. 5, showing only part of a building’s roof and a street beside it. The description points to “the highest place in the capital.”

Based on the clue, head east of the Rokudo-chinnoji Temple and enter the area beside the Yasaka Pagoda Spirit Mirror. Turn right to find the entrance to the building. Climb some flights of stairs to reach an opening that leads to the roof. Head to the south side of the roof to find the chest; use your gauntlet to reveal it.
