While the early‑morning grind is a familiar rhythm for many Australians, the week of Summer Game Fest has evolved into the gaming world’s equivalent of the Super Bowl, drawing crowds and attention from every corner of the industry.
Geoff Keighley has masterfully turned the event into a marketing juggernaut. His strategic promotion is evident in the flood of advertising that saturates the scene each year, yet the real excitement comes from the jaw‑dropping announcements that unfold during the festival. Last year’s crescendo was the unveiling of Resident Evil Requiem, and just a year earlier, I was in the front row to witness the reveal of Power Rangers.
Below is a comprehensive timetable of the Australian broadcast slots for every Summer Game Fest showcase slated for next week. The lineup kicks off with PlayStation’s State of Play stream on Wednesday, followed by the flagship SGF broadcast on Saturday, and concludes with the Xbox Jogos Showcase on Monday.
